Gratitude
So much gratitude to my teachers, lineages, and living traditions that are the solid foundation of this lifelong journey.
This flowing stream represents rasa, the juice of experience and flow of understanding. Always moving, always shifting, but with a solid, stable foundation holding it all up.
That solid foundation is what these teachers and lineages gave me. And the wisdom keeps flowing.
ISHTA Yoga
Most of my teacher trainings were through ISHTA, for both meditation and āsana.
Reverence and gratitude especially to Alan, Sarah, Mona, Peter, Wendy, Kelly, Jill, and Kristen.
ISHTA was my springboard, and each of these teachers gave me some bounce.
Veda Studies
Through Shantala Sriramaiah's Veda Studies, the seed of Sanskrit within all of us opened and took root.
Another profound body of wisdom and a lifetime of exploration and practice.
Vedic Traditions
My Jyotiṣa teacher, Steven Highburger offered an entirely new perspective.
Mind blown.
Jyotiṣa like all Veda-born sciences, offers a lifetime of study. Love.
Samadhi Collective
Kamala and Jahnavi at Samādhi Collective brought Patañjali's Yoga Sūtras and Sanskrit recitation into my practice in a whole new and beautiful way.
Another profound layer revealed.
Dr. Robert Svoboda
I had the great honor of participating in Dr. Svoboda’s Satsaṅga from 2023 to its end in March 2026.
Though we never met personally, I learned an extraordinary amount from hundred+ hours of his lectures and Q+A sessions.
Gratitude always to all the people I met along this journey, that have helped me get to now. Friends and acquaintances who’ve shaped my understanding of this life, and my family who chose and raised me.
Finally, deep gratitude to Parvaneh, who during a long conversation many years ago, opened a door for me that led to the rest of my life.
Complete course shift. 180 degrees.
And now here I am. With you.
