Yoga Meditation

Yoga gives us tools like āsana, prāṇāyāma, kriyā, mantra and mudrā; each one precisely designed to prepare the mind for meditation, and then meditation for something deeper still.

Āsana to settle the body. Prāṇāyāma to balance the energy. Mantra and kriyā to continue drawing the mind inward. And mudrā to seal the energy in. Together, they create the conditions for meditation to arise naturally.

What meditation actually does goes far beyond stress relief or better sleep, though those things do happen. What it really does is introduce you to the part of yourself that have been fogged over by the noise of living in a fast-paced, results driven world.
